Foundation Pilates

Join Malcolm for this simple, focussed yet challenging class working with the foundations of the Pilates method - the PRINCIPLES.  Controlled, deliberate movements working to your breath pattern.

Standing Pilates

 Many people when they think of Pilates the think of lying down on a mat.  Pilates is more than that.  The whole goal is how you are standing as a result of doing your Pilates and there has always been a standing repertoire but it was also expanded by the first generation of Pilates teachers who worked with Joseph Pilates.

Partner Pilates

Using Just another person and perhaps a piece of small equipment or two see  how can you duplicate a large selection of movements from the Pilates Studio Equipment repertoire and take your technique and challenge to a whole new level while having a bit of fun along the way!

Let your Glutes Smile

Often neglected and just as often not doing the job they are designed for to their full potential through overtraining.  This class will bring a satisfying workout while addressing these issues and bring a smile to your glutes.

The Sveltus Band Workout

What?  You still use the standard resistance bands?  Let me show you a great innovation and how to duplicate Pilates Reformer and Cadillac Repertoire without causing fatigue in your hands and forearms.

Happy Feet, Happy Pelvis

The feet and the pelvis are a lot more connected than you may think. They can have a huge impact on each other and unless you target both areas you are missing an opportunity to work in a more logical and balanced way for the body.

Pilates and the Pulse Roll

See how this new piece of equipment incorporates the idea of vibration to enhance your experience and how during preparation phase we can use it for softening the muscle tissue, and after a class  to massage various parts of the body.

MK Pilates Spirals

The Spirals programme came about from seeing a need to bring more flexibility to the body for both Pilates and non-Pilates practitioners.  Combining both dynamic and static stretch with recognisable Pilates movements for strength this choreographed music led class is for all to enjoy.
