2017 Day of Caring Food Drive
The 2017 Heart of Illinois United Way Day of Caring Food Drive will be Friday, September 8 and we need your help! Demand at area food pantries continues to rise ... 1 in 7 adults and 1 in 5 children in Illinois are at risk of being hungry. The Heart of Illinois United Way is asking area companies and organizations to hold food drives within the two weeks prior to September 8. The food drive offers a wonderful opportunity for team building, so we encourage you to form a team and get involved.
Families and individuals are invited to help, too. We'll be collecting food on Friday, September 8 at the Peoria Civic Center (parking lot at the corner of Kumpf and Jefferson) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

*If you're a company or organization registering for the 2017 Day of Caring Food Drive, in your registration confirmation from Constant Contact you will be provided with a link to download materials to help you with your food drive. One week prior to the food drive, you will be provided with a time to drop off your donations on September 8. If you have any questions, just call 309-674-5181, ext. 1234.
