Wu Style Tai Chi

Residential Retreat in

the Lake District

Please join us in learning Wu Style Tai Chi at a full residential retreat at Rydal Hall in the Gorgeous Lake District. Open to all levels of Tai Chi Practitioners from the rank beginner to the more experienced and advanced players. You will learn the external movements as well as be introduced to various Niegung or Internal Skills, which are often the missing link that helps take your from to the next level.

This will be a fanatastic oppurtunity for those that have always wanted to start a tai chi practice to lay the one of the best foundations of a life long health care practice. You will learn what you can do today with Tai Chi and be exposed to the potential that exist when you have more experience.

For those that have been Studying Tai Chi for a while, this course will offer you an oppurtunity to take your practice deeper. Most of the Niegung or Internal skills that will be covered are not widely known or taught, yet they often are what the difference between an empty performance of the ministry of silly movements and that of a power building, health enhancing exercise.

We will be learning and using the first section of the Wu Short Form developed by Taoist Lineage Holder, Bruce Frantzis. These movements act as a great stand alone exercise as well as the container for learning any new internal skill and as a laboratory for integrating these skills into your body.

A side note: although we will be using the Wu Style, all the internal work can be easily transfered directly to any other style such as the Yang or Chen.
