Illinois Wastewater Professionals Conference


The Illinois Wastewater Professional Conference (IWPC) is the joint annual conference hosted by the Illinois Water Environment Association and the Illinois Association of Water Pollution Control Operators.

Technical Sessions will focus on: Assest Management, Biosolids Management, Collection Systems, Laboratory, Nutrients, Plant Operations, Pretreatment, Wastewater Treatment, and Watershed Management.

Workshops and Special Events include:  a Laboratory Workshop, the Operations Challenge, a Security Workshop, Student Poster Session and an Operations Certification Test Review.

Networking opportunities include the Exhibitors Reception and IWEA and IAWPCO Banquets.



If your company provides a product or service to the water and wastewater industry, you won't want to miss IWPC. Last year's event drew close to 600 industry professionals and over 80 exhibitors. New this year are mobile sessions during exhibit hours, longer session breaks and a Wednesday morning Exhibit Hall Breakfast. IWPC is now accepting abstracts for the 2018 Conference. Planned technical sessions will focus on biosolids management, case studies, collection systems, energy use, green infrastructure, laboratory, liquids treatment processes, nutrient removal and reuse, plant operations, pretreatment, safety, solids treatment processes, stormwater, and watershed management.

The IWPC Abstract Information Sheet has information regarding abstract evaluation.
