The 4th Annual Junior MANRRS Leadership Instittue is a professional and career development summit featuring some of the top agricultural and natural resources entities from academia, industry, and government. This event will host over 100 high school students eager to learn about careers and opportunities.

This year’s leadership institute will be hosted by the UMES MANRRS Chapter at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Friday, September 29th- Saturday, 30th September 2017. The full 2-day registration fee will be $50.00 with a special complimentary teacher/chaperone registration for every 8 students a group brings. The theme for our 4th year will focus on Natural Resources and Sustainablity topics along with our usual LEADERSHIP emphasis.  In order to take advantage of the valuable opportunities that will be available, we need the support, attendance, and participation from each of our members. We look forward to seeing you next month!

This year's Leadership Institute will feature the following participating companies:

Chesapeake Research Consortium, Hall Street Journal, DuPont, Mid-Atlantic Farm Credit, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Merck Animal Health, Millionaire Manners Inc., Monsanto, Perdue Farms, Sierra Club,  Thurgood Marshall College Fund, US Forest Service, USDA Agricultural Research Service, USDA APHIS, Veterinary Services, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and USDA Rural Development.
