Four Weeks of Watercolor with Lexi: Wil Freeborn

Thursday: August 10 - single session

6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

$35

Welcome all levels of painters, seriously, beginners are most welcome! You can totally do this! This month, we will enjoy four lessons out of Wil Freeborns tremendous book, Learn to Paint in Watercolor with 50 Paintings! It is especially important that students understand they will need to purchase the book in advance. We respect the author's tremendous talent and generosity for sharing their expertise and want to ensure that we support them by buying their books. You will have my guidance and use of supplies to help you work through the lessons, but the work is all given to us by Wil Freeborn.

Thanks to our very special relationship with Daniel Smith, most of the colors used in this series will be provided to you! Yes, you will have the opportunity to try all these colors for FREE! We will work on stocking the colors in the shop, just in case you fall in love and HAVE to have them <wink wink>. The Daniel Smith colors included are: Alizarin Crimson, Yellow Ochre, Perylene Green, Cerulean Blue, Indigo, Cobalt Violet, Sap Green, Burnt Umber and Paynes' Blue Gray.

*Please note, the cost of the book is NOT included in the cost of your class.

**If you wish to continue working in your Dina Wakley journal, please come with prepared pages. This means you will need to paint your pages with either Transparent or Titanium White watercolor ground. We stock both in the shop for your convenience. Also important reminder, the ground needs to dry 24 to 48hrs before you paint on them. Watercolor paper will be included for the students who prefer to work on  140lbs cold press paper.
