Join us in this wonderful opportunity to learn and study more about our Catholic Faith, and grow deeply in love with Jesus Christ and the Church!

COURSE OVERVIEW

Part I: The Profession of Faith. By exploring the Creed, we discover the nature and mystery of God, the inner life of the Trinity, the full reality of Jesus Christ as Son of God and Savior the identity of the Church and the divine call to enter into a loving and saving relationship with God.  (Dogmatic/Systematic Theology)

Part II: Celebration of the Christian Mysteries. In the Liturgy and the Sacraments, the Church enters into the Pascal Mystery and the life of heaven. We experience the salvation, forgiveness, love and mercy won for us by Jesus Christ. We worship and adore the Lord as a foreshadowing of the perpetual love we will experience in the Kingdom of God.  (Liturgical/Sacramental Theology)

Part III: Life in Christ. Focused on the moral life, seen through the prism of the Ten Commandments, this section explores Christian ethics-the call to holiness and virtue, the reality of sin, the need to embrace a robust discipleship in Christ as a new creation, acting in imitation of Jesus the Master. (Moral Theology)

Part IV: Christian Prayer. Our Catholic faith converges in the experience of prayer, our relationship with God, strengthened through Scripture, petition, and meditation. We explore multiple forms and methods of prayer, in particular the Our Father. (Spiritual Theology)
