R-PAS Coding Webinar #1 - Example Responses 1 - 10

Free Coding Webinar: The R-PAS Team will be providing 10 ongoing webinars covering the practice coding material in Chapter 7 of the Manual. The trainings are designed to help users master the fundamentals of coding. Each 1-hour webinar will sequentially review the coding of 10 examples, and provide a platform for users to discuss coding questions they have, as well as the rationale for why the response was coded as it was. The webinar will be led by Jessa Dmytryszyn, the R-PAS Research Assistant.
Users are encouraged to attend as their schedule permits. If you cannot make one webinar because of scheduling conflict, you can try to attend another one. Thus, attendance at previous sessions is not expected or required for later sessions. This also means you can try to attend the session or sessions that address the responses where you have questions. The 100 practice coding examples are graduated in difficulty. As such, if you are in an early stage of learning R-PAS coding, attending the earlier sessions might be more useful than waiting for the later sessions. Conversely, if you have a sound base of experience, you might prefer to wait for some of the more challenging responses.
Registration is limited to 50 people per webinar. We are unsure how much interest there may be in these trainings. If you are interested but unable to register, either because of a schedule conflict or because the session is full, please let us know at info@r-pas.org so we can consider alternative times or additional sessions.
