We have invited Morgan Copes, president and general manager of Birmingham Hammers to join us. He will share his story about being one of the driving forces behind the team going from dream to reality - creating a professional soccer team in Birmingham. This year Birmingham Hammers played their first game in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).
Since we annouce this event there has been exciting news. Morgan Copes have stepped into a new role as VP of USL Birmingham - the professional Birmingham soccer team - second-division league.
There will also be plenty of time for networking and brews.

The Young Professionals group is under the AlabamaGermany Partnership umbrella. Its members are interns, co-op or employees of either an Alabama-Germany company or institution. The age requirement is 21 to 39. This also includes college students, grad students studying German language, international business, science and engineering. The group will promote international education, individual career development and promotion of Alabama-German companies and workforce development.
