Cables are a knitter's secret weapon. They look 10 times more complex than they really are and with the simple twist of a few stitches, they will take your knitting to a new level of beauty.

Join us for this one session course in grasping the basics of cables. Cables not only add texture to the surface of a piece, but each twist added increases the warmth of your piece as that fabric twists back on itself. This warmth factor makes this headband as practical as it is stylish. 

Prerequisite skills: Knit, Purl, Cast On, Bind Off

Materials: 1 skein of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky, 1 cable needle, US 10 knitting needles in preferred method for knitting flat, stitch markers
