10-2-17 It’s All About the Data: Progress Monitoring Made Easier – New Teacher- No Fee for Member Districts- $35 Fee for Non Member Districts

Target Audience: Newly hired special education teachers

Description:

This professional learning opportunity is intended to introduce new special education teachers to skills required to monitoring student progress.  As a result of participating in this session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the necessity of progress monitoring for accelerating student growth
  • Determine effectiveness of instruction/intervention and how to modify in response to data
  • Use guidance and tools for collecting meaningful data

Participants are encouraged to bring an IEP with progress monitoring data from a student on their current caseload.

Please note that CKSEC accepts Purchase Orders and checks as forms of payment, for auditing purposes, we can not accept cash.

GUESTS/UNREGISTERED POLICY

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
