Target Audience:

ARC Chairpersons, Directors of special education, Special Education Teachers

Description: Participants will become familiar with compliance documentation of an Annual Review ARC by reviewing a due process special education file using the 2017-18 KDE Special Education Record Review document.  Participants are expected to bring two (2) special education due process folders from their school to the training to conduct the record review.  Each folder should contain the paper work from an annual review ARC meeting that was held since Aug 2017.

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
