Cross-Linguistic Transfer: Unlocking the Standards en Espaņol
Join a select group of area administrators for an exclusive session led by leading biliteracy expert Silvia Dorta-Duque de Reyes, the director and contributing author of the Common Core Standards en Espaņol translation and linguistic augmentations. Silvia will lead a discussion about successfully meeting the specific challenges of the standards en Espaņol and the role of cross-linguistic transfer.

Learn effective, practical strategies on how to best implement the standards in bilingual and dual language schools and how to organize instruction for cross-linguistic skills transference. The session will address the specific cognitive and linguistic needs of emerging bilingual students and how to differentiate for varying levels of language acquisition.
