Educator Day

Presented by the Child and Youth Care Education Accreditation Board of Canada, this full day of activities will engage participants in disucssion, problem solving, sharing and dynamic learning as we continue to build a Child and Youth Care Educator Community of Practice.

Collective successes and strengths in CYC education will be shared, along with faculty and student resources that reflect a strength-based practice perspective.  Additionally, active discussions will be focused on current challenges in CYC education, including topics such as teaching CYC from a relational lens, diversity in CYC education and translating CYC learning in field work settings.  Save the date and prepare to participate!

Welcome Reception

Join us for an evening of socializing with fellow conference delegates from around the globe.  Appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available.

Conference Days

Your conference experience will be enhanced by the ability, should you desire, to"choose your own adventure" in the thematic selection of your workshops, such as Child and Youth Care as Advocates and Activists; Reconciliation Informing Practice; and Improving Service, led by engaging leaders and scholars in the Child and Youth Care Community and beyond.

Registrations made after on-line closing date and non-registered at-door arrivals (space permitting) will be charge at the above rates, plus a $50.00 per person administration fee.

Payment for online registration after 25 March 2018 will be by credit card or paypal only, as cheque payment must be received by CYCABC 30 days prior to event, or registration will be cancelled.  

At Door Registration and Payment.  Only Cash and E-transfer will be accepted at the door.
