Course Description:

In this course, attendees will learn the definitions of Sleep Apnea and Apnea Hypopnea Index, the prevalence and risks of pediatric sleep disordered breathing, and how to recognize the signs and symptoms of pediatric airway problems.

Dr. David received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University in 1999, where she graduated with honors. She completed a residency in Temporal Mandibular Disorders at the Tufts School of Dental Medicine. A graduate of the Spear Institute of Advanced Dental Education, Dr. David is currently a member of the faculty and spends several weeks a year working with dentists from around the country. She is also a graduate of the prestigious Dawson Center for Aesthetics in St. Petersburg, FL, and is board certified by both the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She currently serves as Director of the TMJ and Sleep Therapy Centre of New England.

 

Kimberly A. Meyer, DMD

Dr. Kimberly A. Meyer has a general dental practice in Northwood, New Hampshire focusing on comprehensive restorative, cosmetic, orthodontic and implant services for the whole family. She graduated from UNH in 1993 Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biochemistry and graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1998. She recently completed a two-year program with the Dawson Academy in training for comprehensive, complete dentistry, where she learned how to diagnose and treat occlusal disease. She has also completed training necessary to be able to offer Oral Conscious Sedation, and is both BLS and ACLS certified. Dr. Meyer is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the New Hampshire Dental Society, DOCs, American Association of Women Dentists and the Seacoast Implant Study Club. She currently serves as Director and owner of the TMJ and Sleep Therapy Centre of New Hampshire.
