Save the Airfare: Calabria

Every 2 months or so, we will be hosting an educational event focusing on the specific wine and cuisine that make each region of Italy special and unique. This is an exciting opportunity to not only taste what each region has to offer, but also learn about its rich history, and why these foods and wines prosper in these specific regions.

Executive Chef Geo Dodig and Beverage Director Robert Van Thiel will be working together to bring an eclectic offering of the best cuisine representative of each region, paired with the great wines that prosper there.

At the end of August, we will be featuring the regional wine and cuisine of the southern region of Calabria!

A majority of Calabria's landscape is comprised of mountains. Namely, three mountain ranges--Pollino in the north, La Sila in the center, and Aspromonte in the south.

Cuisine from Calabria is a typical southern Italian cuisine with a balance between meat-based dishes (pork, lamb, goat), vegetables (especially eggplant), and fish.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 30th, beginning at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $90/person (including tax and gratuity) and are very limited so secure your spot ASAP! We are looking forward to this just as much as you are!
