Egg Donation In Ireland

On Thursday, 14 September 2017, Sims IVF hosts an Egg Donation Open Evening for couples who want to find out more about Egg Donation in Ireland.

The Open Evening provides an insight into the Egg Donation options that are available for couples in Ireland. Our medical team will provide presentations on topics that are highly relevant to couples who seek to have a baby in today’s society.  You get the opportunity to:

  • Find out who egg donation is suitable for.
  • Learn about the two programmes offered by Sims IVF.
  • Hear presentations by our doctors.
  • Hear a presentation from our Laboratory Director.
  • Meet the team including Doctors, Egg donation Coordinators and Lab staff.
  • Ask questions during the presentations.
  • Ask questions privately to our team after the presentations.

New legislation, to be introduced over the next 18 months, means that egg donors will now be identifiable and not anonymous. This means that any child/children resulting from a donor egg programme, who wish to know more about their donor, may do so, when they reach the age of 18.  Sims IVF recently introduced Ireland's first Identifiable Egg Donation Programme, in addition to our established anonymous donor egg programmes.

Sims endeavours to offer respect, care and medical excellence in a confidential setting.  Clinical staff will also be on standby to talk with you about your particular circumstances.

The SIms IVF Egg Donation Open Evening is Free.

Places are limited, so please book early.

 About Sims IVF

We have offered hope to couples for over 15 years and are now internationally recognised as leaders in reproductive medicine in Ireland. Sims IVF was the first in the country to implement a donor gamete transfer programme and to utilise blastocyst culture and transfer. Many of our patients come to us because they failed to become pregnant elsewhere and have discovered that we offer more advanced solutions than other clinics.

We aim to make Sims IVF is a sanctuary – a place of support, confidentiality and medical excellence.

In 2011 we moved to our modern, hi-tech clinic
in Clonskeagh, Dublin – a clinic designed with patients in mind and based on feedback from
both staff and patients. We are at the cutting
edge, providing some of the most advanced
and successful testing technology and IVF treatments to our patients.

We adhere to Five Core Principles to ensure that you as a patient get the best possible care,
in order to maximise your chances of becoming pregnant and having a healthy baby.

1.  A Commitment to Care
2.  Advanced Infertility Testing
3.  State of the Art Facilities
4.  Leaders in Reproductive Medicine in Ireland
5.  Excellent Results

Our commitment is to care for you, so that you can realise your dream of having a baby.
