Oaklawn community fundraising luncheon
Matt Bellace is a speaker, author, clinical psychologist and stand-up comedian. “Once a year I get a call from someone saying, ‘We need a psychologist who’s funny, and you seem to be the only one,’ ” he jokes. Bellace travels throughout the U.S. and Canada speaking primarily to students about choosing healthy, natural highs over substance use. He is the author of “A Better High” and developed the “How to Get High Naturally” program.
Bellace holds a Ph.D. in psychology with a subspecialty in clinical neuropsychology from Drexel University. It was during grad school that he began to follow a long-held passion for comedy — one of his personal natural highs. He’s been featured as a recurring comedian on truTV’s hit show, “World’s Dumbest.”
