Please join us September 1st and 2nd for three exclusive Sig Sauer Academy Classes, FREE for Adventure Outdoors Customers.
Instructors Ross Begnaud and Kyle Barrington bring years of experience to the training table. They will be covering best practices for concealed carrying on Friday, and on Saturday Ross and Kyle will cover Handgun and Carbine/Rifle Fundamentals. There will a Q&A at the end of each class.

Ross Begnaud: Instructor
Ross is a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force with 26+ years of combined federal law enforcement and military experience. This time includes 10 years as a USAF Security Police/Forces member specializing personnel and resource protection. He served as a member of multiple Emergency Service Teams and the Nuclear Weapons Tactical Recapture Force. He also served 10 years as a Special Agent with the USAF Office of Special Investigations where he conducted felony level investigations, counter terrorism, counterintelligence, and surveillance operations. Ross is a combat veteran of Operation Southern Watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom where he directed off base force protection operations and led numerous counterintelligence missions and protective service operations. He is currently a certified senior firearms instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and conducts firearms and tactics training for military units, federal agencies, foreign agencies, and state/local departments. Ross has an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor's degree in Security Management, and a Master's degree in Business Administration. He is a life member of the National Rifle Association.
Kyle Barrington: Instructor
Kyle, now retired from the US Army, began his active service duty in the 101st Airborne Division before attending and completing SFAS and the Special Forces "Q" course. He finished with 20 years of dedicated service, 16 of those years in Special Forces operational detachment experience. As a Green Beret, he served as the Master Breacher and an Assaulter in the 3rd Special Forces Commanders In-Extremis Force (CIF) which came after the completion of Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance, Target Analysis, and Exploitation Techniques Course (SFARTAETC). Kyle served as an the primary explosive breaching instructor, as well as, firearms and close quarters battle instructor for the 3rd Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course. He also served as a breaching instructor at Harvey Point Defense Testing Activity for various Federal agencies. After retiring from the US Army Special Forces, he was contracted to instruct CQB, explosive entry, and close precision engagement for strategic nuclear weapons recapture operations.
His military qualifications include the Special Forces Tab, Combat Infantry Badge, Parachutist Badge, Military Free-fall Parachutist Badge, and Air Assault Badge; the Dominican Free-fall Parachutist Badge and Parachutists Badges from Germany, Australia and the Dominican Republic.
Kyle is a sworn Deputy Sheriff and an active member the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA), a life member the National Rifle Association (NRA), and Decade/Life member of the Special Forces Association (SFA). Kyle holds a BA in Leadership and an MS in Security Management. Currently he is a full time Senior firearms instructor at the largest Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in the nation. Kyle holds multiple Federal and NRA instructor certifications in firearms.
