America and the World: A WACU Lecture Series 

Please join Upstate International's World Affairs Council Upstate as we kick off our America and the World 8-part monthly lecture series!

• September 20, 2017 -- our first lecturer will be Dr. Akan Malici speaking about the Challenges for American Foreign Policy.
• October 18, 2017 -- Dr. Brent Nelsen will discuss Europe, Brexit and the Future of the Transatlantic Alliance.
• November 15, 2017 -- Dr. Kate Kaup will present Pivots and Turns in US-Asia Relations.
• December 7, 2017 -- don't miss Dr. Michael Bressler as he discusses Russian and American Relations in the Age of Putin.
• January 17, 2018 -- Dr. Cleve Fraser will be our guest lecturer focusing on The US Relationship with Latin America.
• February 21, 2018 -- we will hear from Dr. Don Gordon on Africa.
• March 15, 2018 -- Dr. Buket Oztas will present: The United States and the Middle East.
• April 18, 2018 -- Dr. Akan Malici will present our final lecture: The United States and Iran. 

          Coffee will be provided and there will be time for networking before the speaker starts at 9:00am.
