Best Practices Round Table Forum 

Judges and practitioners will be assigned to small groups to brainstorm about best practices, effective techniques, do's and don'ts, and "tricks of the trade" in the areas of Civil, Criminal, Family, Commercial/Bankruptcy, ADR and Appellate law. Questions and open discussion led by the judges will follow. Join your colleagues as we share gems that worked well and approaches to avoid. Judges from the Appellate Court, Hartford JD and New Britain JD in each field, a federal bankruptcy judge, as well as experienced practitioners will be leading the groups.

Program handouts will be emailed to registrants the day before the program.


Neither the Connecticut Judicial Branch nor the Commission on Minimum Continuing Legal Education approve or accredit CLE providers or activities.  It is the opinion of this provider that this activity  qualifies for up to 2.0 hour toward your annual CLE requirement in Connecticut.

This Continuing Legal Education program is appropriate for both newly-admitted and experienced attorneys and has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York Continuing Legal Education Board for a maximum of 2.0 credit hour per session, applicable to the Areas of Professional Practice requirement.

CLE Certificates of Accreditation will be issued upon request. Please contact the HCBA office if you would like to receive a certificate.The HCBA offers adjusted CLE seminar registration fees for HCBA members who require financial assistance.
