Fall Meeting & Field Trip

Causes and Effects of Land Subsidence
 in Harris and Galveston Counties, Texas

Please join us in Houston for the October AEG Texas Chapter Meeting.  We will focus on Causes and Effects of Land Subsidence in Harris and Galveston Counties.  The itinerary includes morning speakers from the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District, U.S.G.S., and University of Houston.  Our next announcement will have the complete line-up.  During the afternoon field trip, we will visit several sites in the area to view the effects of land subsidence on local infrastructure.  Don't forget to register for the Friday night mixer where you can catch up with fellow AEG members and enjoy catered lasagna and garlic rolls.
