Building Resiliency in Youth

Now that we know what trauma is and how it can affect a child’s life into adulthood, what do we do about it? Join us for the morning to talk RESILIENCE.

We know that protective factors can mitigate the impact of trauma, and that resilience is the counter-balance to adversity.  In this workshop learn:

1)      The neurobiology of resilience

2)      Five areas of focus for resilience

3)      Specific strategies to help youth build resilience in each area of focus

1.0 CEU will be provided

Presenters: Amy Rosen, MA, MSA, LMHC, LCAC, & Dory Lawrence, MA
