The culture of a company is defined by its belief system and norms (the unspoken and spoken ways of operating).
How can I develop a strong, but simple set of beliefs to guide my company? Once the belief system is developed, how can I communicate it to my employees and to my external stakeholders, e.g. customers, investors, etc.? Once I have my belief system (mission and values) in place, how can I develop effective norms that incorporate these beliefs? You want all your stakeholders to see that the way you do things is consistent with your expressed beliefs.
A strong culture can accelerate the development of your business; a weak, inconsistent culture can impede your success. This workshop will explore how small organizations can develop highly effective cultures that drive success.
This free workshop is co-sponsored by the Boston Chapter of SCORE and the Venture Cafe, and presented by SCORE Mentor Steve Bookbinder.
