More Info

The Common Ground Christian Network is a group of denominations, organizations, congregations, and individuals who believe 21st century Christians need to stand together for the cause of Christ.  We come from different denominational and theological traditions, but these distinctives are respected and appreciated, not a cause for division among us. The common ground upon which we stand is the affirmation of classical orthodox Christianity.

We have participants who are Anglican (ACNA and ACA), Presbyterian (PCA, EPC, ECO and remnant members of the PCUSA), Lutheran (NALC, Missouri Synod and Lutheran Core in the ELCA), Congregational and Reformed (Evangelical Assn of Congregational and Reformed Churches), United Methodists (Good News, Confessing Church) and others.

For five years the CGCN has met annually in order to further collaboration and cooperation among our respective churches. Typically, we meet to discuss issues we all face as church leaders and then spend time seeing how we can help each other. This October 23-25 will focus on engaging the culture, spiritual care of church leaders, church planting and social witness.

This is a group of people who share a heart for Christ, compassion for the world and a genuine concern that the Church is not having the depth nor breadth of influence in the culture that God intends. We will have special, guest speakers during our time together as well as panel discussions on each topic.
