fiveSMART(TM) Training

Research shows that a need for promoting healthy weight starts at the earliest stages. Join us on Friday, September 22nd for a detailed training on fiveSMART(TM), CLOCC's health message for prenatal and early-childhood (0-3yr).
fiveSMART is designed as a companion message for 5-4-3-2-1 Go!(R), based on research that supports the importance of Sleep, Meals & Snacks, Activity, Role Modeling & Responsiveness, and Things to Avoid. Messaging is tailored for prenatal care, ages 0-12 months and ages 1-3 years.
This fiveSMART training opportunity will be relevant and useful for anyone who works with pregnant women or children aged 0-3, day care providers, pediatricians, OB physicians, family practitioners and home visitors. There is no cost to attend the training.
Date: Friday, September 22, 2017
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Children's Home+Aid (Western Office), 100 N. Western Ave., 2nd Floor.
The training will be in Training Rooms 1 & 2 – please confirm at the reception desk.
The Children’s Home + Aid parking in lot is on the south side of Washington. Please do not park in the parking lot adjacent to the building, as that is IL Dept. of Juvenile Justice parking.
