You’ve seen the ads on TV. You’ve attended the lectures, but have you really twisted the nuts and bolts of an IRS Offer in Compromise? Work the details with Eric Green. Because so little practical good information is available the acceptance rate for filed OIC’s in 2014 was below 40%. Tips and techniques will be offered using detailed case studies analyzing actual situations. Explanations will be offered as to the steps to take and why using actual IRS forms (letters, spreadsheets and allowable expense tables). Bring your laptops, tablets, pencils, calculators, and scratch pads. This is a hands-on exercise.

Eric Green, a partner at Green & Sklarz LLC of New Haven, CT, is a nationally respected tax attorney. As well as tax, Mr. Green handles matters of probate, estate planning for individuals and businesses, and tax strategies for closely held businesses. He is a frequent lecturer on tax topics such as estate planning, tax audits and tax controversies. He has been the chair of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Tax Section, is a member of its Estate and Probate Section and an adjunct faculty member at the UConn School of Law.
