About the Program

Every major gift solicitation includes many moving pieces: the gathering of accurate information, setting up the meeting, including the right partners on the visit, uttering the words and waiting for a response.  Surely this long-established process will work?  Not always!  So many things can happen that may create challenges for your organization’s pursuit of major gifts.

Come to the AFP Extended Session on Challenges in Major Gifts to hear real stories and solutions for solving some of the most difficult road blocks and awkward conversations in the quest for the major gift.
