Georgia Brownfield Coastal Committee Announces September Event

Start your morning with an hour of powerful content from the Georgia Brownfield Association Coastal Committee, beginning with an economic development update from Georgia Power on investment and relocation trends, alongside a presentation on tax credit opportunities available to facilitate brownfield redevelopment in the region.

Who: The Georgia Brownfield Association Coastal Committee Presents: 

• Ricardo Palacios, P.E., Senior Economic Development Engineer, Georgia Power will provide an update about investment and relocation trends, as well as share Georgia Power’s new GIS tool. 

• Kimberley Hale, Partner, Kazmarek Mowrey Cloud Laseter LLP (KMCL) will share insights into Brownfield Tax abatement incentives, including determining when the Georgia Brownfield Program is a good fit for prospective purchasers of contaminated property and how best to leverage it.
