This is Not the Life I Imagined: Grief and Coping Skills for Parents of Children with Disabilities

Parents of children w/disabilities often experience “chronic sorrow” that is described as a long-term form of grief beginning at the time of a child’s diagnosis and recurs at various times throughout the child’s life. This training provides an overview of the grief cycle, focusing on the impact of grief on the family.
