We will participate in a day of TSA TSO training, and tremendous behind-the-scenes access to their philosophy and methods of training TSO's.  Administrator Dave Pekoske has asked that we view this training from the focus of driving officer retention and sharing additional ideas towards this goal.  We will provide a special WHSR/TSA Academy uniform shirt upon arrival in Glynco for your training day.

The agenda will include:

October 18 - dinner upon arrival in Brunswick, GA

October 19 - Training Day at TSA Academy, FLETC

       Dinner with TSA Academy Staff

October 20 - depart as you choose

The Agenda for our Training Day includes the Intermodel Transportation Facility tour, TSA Modular Campus with checkpoint exercises, on-board flight training in a 727 jet, and explosives training, as well as a discussion with Shawn Weeks-Freeman, an instructor who will share her experience as a Flight Attendant aboard PanAm Flight #830, when an IED exploded inflight.
