Days & times

-Refinement for the Trail Horse & Finding a feel. Body Control & Collection (Wed 2PM-4PM)

-Transitions & speed control for the Trail Horse with Patterns (Thursday 10AM-12PM)

-Controlled Catastrophe's for the Trail Horse. Practicing how to handle scary situations on the trail. (Thursday 2PM-4PM)

-Building Confidence in your Trail Horse from the ground (Friday 10AM-12PM)

-Mastering obstacles for the Trail Horse -water obstacle, over & under obstacles, noisy obstacles (Friday 2PM-4PM)

Special Friday Workshop: time to be announced. Riders Stretches Workshop that includes a chair massage.

Demonstrations:

Thursday 6:00 pm- "Having Fun with your Trail Horse" demonstration. (for all attendees no registration required)

Friday 6:00 pm- "What does a Trail Horse Need to Know" demonstration. (for all attendees no registration required)

Saturday at 10:00 am

Scavenger Hunt Trail Ride - for a chance to win prizes. Teams of 1-3 riders allowed. Fun scenic trail ride with a little adventure added in! 1st-3rd place winners will be determined by the team that finds the most items on their list with a time closest to the pre determined base time.

Saturday at 7:00 pm -PPE Barn Party Potluck with chicken provided.

Sunday 9:00 am -Cowboy Church

Sunday 10:30 am Obstacle Challenge Competition. Youth & adult. All breed and for all levels of riders/horses. Ribbons and awards for winners.

Prize drawings for riders & each rider receives a complimentary gift bag! Awards provided by World Class Saddlery.

& HTCAA Gathering in South Carolina!

Perfect Partners Equine & HTCAA are partnering together for a celebration of the Trail Horse. All trail riders are invited to join us at an amazing location for trail riding on miles of trails, fellowship with like minded riders, trail horse workshops, scavenger hunt, trail obstacles, demonstrations and much more! (no membership required)

Event participants will be able to ride on miles of safe & beautiful trails offered on this amazing 1300 acre private farm.

Spend you days riding through the beautiful pines and other trees, open fields, along ponds and many other unique areas. All the trails are wide and groomed and are maintained on a regular basis.

Enjoy riding with like minded mature riders. Meet some old friends and make some new ones along the way.

Views of wildlife, old unique structures, beautiful wood carvings and

an historical cemetary are available during your ride.

Trail Horse Workshops- with Joe Most of Perfect Partners Equine. Winner of multiple trail challenge titles including NCHC Extreme Challenge 2013, AQHA 75th Ann. Trail Challenge 2015/16 and appeared on America's Favorite Trail Horse on HRTV and Horse Tales TV. Wednesday through Friday you can participate in 5 different Trail Horse Workshops that are offered by PPE to assist you in developing that perfect trail partner.

We have a SPECIAL TREAT!

Friday at 9:00 am we have a "Rider Stretches Workshop" that includes learning some great stretches for riders and a relaxing 15 minute massage!

Nightly socials by the campfire sharing your trail horse adventures and discussing trail ride plans for the future!

Scavenger Hunt & Trail Ride on Saturday morning and a Potluck dinner for riders on Saturday night with chicken provided by PPE.

Sunday Obstacle Challenge 10:00 am

The Trail Horse Challenge Competition

Trail Horse Class: Prizes/Awards 1st -5th place All Breeds. Merits available for AQHA horses.

1.*Trail Obstacle Challenge Course ( 6-13 judged obstacles in a natural setting)

*Adult & Youth Divisions- 3 Levels in each division: Training, Intermediate & Masters *(AQHA Division, All Breed Division seperate for this class only)

Level 1 -Training Level: This is considered a new partnership. The rider and horse may not have established trust or are unsure about each member's ability to negotiate simple obstacles. Obstacles should be easy to explain to the team: basic maneuver or technique needed to complete the obstacle.

Level 2-Intermediate Level: This is considered an established Partnership. The rider and Horse are familiar with one another, exhibit trust when negotiating obsacles are conditioned to ride a longer and or slightly more difficult course.

Level 3-Masters Level: This is considered a Partnership where Horse and rider have established trust, can negotiate difficult obstacles and are conditioned for a longer and or more challenging course.
