A few years ago, Kimley-Horn presented on the PD&E Study of the Flagler Memorial Bridge replacement alternatives. Today, the bridge is completed and in use. Matthew Fursetzer will now retouch on the PD&E Study while focusing the discussion on the design build process and construction of the Flagler Memorial Bridge. Matthew will also give an overview of the new brige and lessons learned from the project.
About the presenter:
Matthew Fursetzer earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2001 from the University of Florida and is a Registered Professionanl Engineer in Florida. He is a Project Manager with Kimley-Horne and Associcates, Inc. He has over 16 years of experience in both planning and roadway design disciplines. Major project contributions include the I-595 corridor widening, Florida's Turnpile All Electronic Tolling upgrade, Florida's Turnpike wideding in Broward and Palm Beach Counties, and the North Causeway Bascule Bridge Replacement PD&E Strudy.
