2017 Medicaid Managed Care Forums

The Cabinet for Health and Family Services in partnership with the Managed Care Companies is once again sponsoring forums across Kentucky in October and November 2017. These forums are designed to allow any and all health care providers (including behavioral health and substance use providers) who have contracts with MCOs and serve Medicaid consumers to meet face-to-face and discuss concerns about proper billing, prior authorizations, prompt pay, appeals processes or any other specific issues related to the continued implementation of Managed Care.  In attendance will be senior level staff from each Managed Care Organization, senior staff from the Department of Insurance (DOI), Office of Inspector General, Department  for Medicaid Services, Department for Public Health, Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.

We encourage pre-registration 3 days in advance of the forum of your choice.  Pre-registration is highly encouraged to allow conference staff to properly prepare for the number of attendees.

KY Health 1115 Waiver Overview             10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

SUD/Opiate Crisis                                     11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.               

LUNCH ON YOUR OWN                          12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

    Break for lunch and come back for breakout rooms until 5:00 p.m.

Afternoon Breakout Sessions          1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Each MCO and Kentucky Health Initiatives will have breakout rooms to allow for one-on one discussions and questions.
