ABOUT OUR PRESENTER

  Richard Edsall was born and raised in Cape Vincent , New York.  He attended the University of Rochester and received a degree in Bio-Chemistry and continued on to get his Masters from SUNY Oswego in General Science.  Rich taught Science at Thousand Islands Central School from 1969-1983.  In 1983 Rich became licensed to sell Life, Accident and Health Insurance and in 1984 added a Property and Casualty license to his certifications.  Rich began his insurance career with Prudential in Watertown.  He worked for Prudential Insurance for 10 years, then was recruited to Excellus BCBS for 5 years and subsequently was hired by Benefit Services Group as Sales Manager.  Rich has been Sales Manager for more than 15 years with Benefit Services Group.  Rich is also certified by New York State to teach the pre-licensing class for Property and Casualty Insurance agents.
