Ian Johnson Distinguished Lecture 

Johnson won the Pulitzer Prize in 2001 for his coverage of the suppression of the Falun Gong spiritual movement. He is a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books and The New York Times, among other publications. His newest book, The Souls of China, focuses on the intersection between politics and religion.  

Mr. Johnson's talk will be: China’s Great Awakening: Why the world’s most populous country is undergoing a religious revival and what it means for us.

This event benefits the Osher Lifelong learning Institute at the University of South Florida's (OLLI-USF) Annual Fund and has a suggested minimum donation of $20. Cash and checks will be accepted at the door at this event.
