LOG High School Summer Mission Trip

REGISTRATION

       June 23-30, 2018 | Gulf Coast, TX (Hurricane Harvey Relief) 

Join us as we have the opportunity to enter into the lives of others and build relationships with our surrounding Texas neighbors who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey.  Our exact location will be determined by where we can be used the most (Corpus Christi, Rockport, Galveston, Houston, Victoria).  We will know more details in the upcoming months. We will also be using VANS for our trip versus last year's charter bus option.

Please click the appropriate registration button.  Adult and Student registrations are separate this year to assist in managing the adult/student ratio required for the trip.  

NON-REFUNDABLE FEE:

Adult:  $200 (due by Sunday, December 31, 2017)  

Student:  $400 ($200 deposit due by Sunday, September 31, 2017 - additional $100 payment due February 25 and March 25, 2018)

This registration fee includes the mandatory Local Missions February 9-11, 2018.  Please note that you need to register separately at log.org/youth/mission trips for Local Missions as we have other registration needs for that event.  We ask that you join us for Mission Sunday July 8, 2018 as we share our experences with the congregation through testimonies and worship.

PAYMENT: Payment can be made by check to the church office or online at log.org "online giving".  You will be asked to create an account if you do not already have one.

FORMS: Mission trip forms can be found at log.org/youth/forms.  We will need a 2017-2018 LOG Medical Release & Permission Form and a photocopy of your health insurance card from every participant.  If you will be age 18 or older by the date of this event, please complete a Background Check form.  We ask for these forms every year in the fall and keep them on file for all youth events over the next 12 months. We may need more forms depending on our mission site. You will receive communication through the email you register with.   All paperwork due Sunday, March 25, 2018! 

FUNDRAISING: We really need your involvement in our fundraising efforts for our trips! We are able to offer mission trips at a discounted rate of the actual trip costs through fundraising and donations.  Youth Spaghetti Dinner and Auction is Saturday, March 24, 2018 and we will need all mission trip participants present at this fundraiser.  More information will be emailed to you about our fundraising events.  We are also looking for a team of parents to help plan additional fundraising events for our mission trip fund.

PARENT HELP:  As this trip will most likely be planned in house we are especially in need this year of adults who can help us plan before the trip with logistics (paperwork, work sites, food, housing) even if you can't attend with us for the week!  We are in need of Adult Participants.  This will help serve us TREMENDOUSLY!!  

PARENT MEETING: Parents please join us for mandatory parent meeting, Friday, February 9, 2018 at the start of Local Missions weekend in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm.  This meeting will cover details about Local Missions weekend as well as general information about our summer mission trips.  As we get closer to our summer mission trips we will have a second and final mandatory Parent Meeting, Sunday, April 15, 2018 in the Youth Center following late service. It will be at this meeting that we will have more details about our mission trip sites.  

Please make sure you register with an email that you want to recieve communication from.  In other words students who register themselves still need to register with a parent email so that parents are in the main loop of communication.

In past years our mission trip spots have filled up very quickly.  Please register today to secure your spot.  First come, first serve policy.

Once you complete the following regisration you should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.  If you do not receive that email in your inbox we have not received your registration.  Please contact us immediately for assisstance to secure your spot!
