Many great people have served in our military or are currently serving, with many giving the ultimate sacrifice for our country. One way we honor our past, present, and future troops are to memorialize their units and their work at the Arlington National Cemetery with significant trees.
To honor our nation's veterans, Arboretum Naturalist Bob Chicken will lead visitors on a free guided memorial walk to significant tree species. The trees you visit on grounds will be the same species as the memorial trees for our nation's units and significant military groups found at Arlington National Cemetery.
Space is limited to 20 visitors so please register early! Please be sure to dress for the weather!
