Join AFP Rockford Chapter and Northern Illinois Planned Giving Council for "Planned Giving 101." Planned giving expert Suzanne Berger, and financial and wealth management advisor Kerry Schaible will present planned giving 101 and 102 in this two-part conference.

Part 1: Planned Giving 101

Suzanne Berger has over 40 years of experience in securing and maintain partnerships with donors in the Rockford area. Her portion of the presentation will focus on the basics of starting and fostering a planned giving program. Suzanne will provide tips and tools for planned giving programs, including effective communication pieces and partnerships with agents of wealth. She will also dispel fears relating to planned giving programs and address the role of the charity’s board members.

Part 2: Planned Giving 102

Kerry Schaible has over 10 years of experience advising clients in all aspects of financial planning including charitable gift planning. Kerry’s portion of the presentation will provide an over view of charitable giving techniques He will also explain, in layman's terms, charitable trusts and planned giving concepts that all fundraising professionals should know.
