Try your hand at 8-shaft weaving! The deflected double weave creates a double layered fabric that is completely reversible and subtly different on each side.
The structure and glory of deflected double weave is best highlighted by the use of two yarns of strongly contrasting colors. For even more fun you can use yarns with different fulling/shrinking capacities, such as cotton silk or superwash wool for one of the yarns and a non-superwash wool for the other yarn.
Have fun when selecting your fibers, this exciting structure is a great opportunity to experiment.

Unless otherwise stated or pre-approved, all classes are for those 18 and older. If you are interested in the class but are not 18 please contact us and we will work to find a solution. In cases where there is a lack of interest, we reserve the right to cancel a class. In case of inclement weather, we may have to reschedule or cancel a class. Unless otherwise stated, each class must have at least four (4) registrants for class to be held. We understand that life can change at any moment and the need to cancel class may arise, but if you must cancel, we require at least 48 hours notice before the start of class in order to receive a full refund. Your spot will not be guaranteed unless the class is paid in full 1 week prior to the start date. In the event that Cowgirl Yarn cancels, you will receive an email with a follow-up phone call as well as a full refund of your class fee. Should you be absent from class, and if the missed material cannot be made up in under 15 minutes, you will need to schedule a Private Lesson outside of class time to get caught up. Private Lessons run $20/hour and will need to be scheduled with enough time to catch up on any and all homework for the next class.
