DAS Fall Procurement Workshop
and QRF Showcase

The Oregon Resource Association and DAS Procurement have teamed up again to bring you another Fall Procurement Workshop and QRF Showcase on November 15 in Salem. Registration is open now!

The Fall Procrement Workshop and QRF Showcase, jointly coordinated by DAS and ORA, is a tremendous opportunity to market your QRF goods and services. DAS training is offering a full day of sessions (and continuing education credits) for procurement professionals who will choose from a variety of sought-after speakers and topics. For the first time, they can also choose to tour a nearby QRF for one of their sessions! During breaks, they will have opportunities to visit a QRF-only trade show organized by ORA.

As a QRF, your $50 registration includes a vendor table, table linen, morning refreshments, and lunch for you and up to three of your associates. At DAS's request and to encourage meaningful conversations between QRFs and potential buyers, we're retaining a scavengar hunt based on questions that YOU provide on your registration form (so think carefully!).

In another first, training will be offered to QRF attendees as well this year. Learn about upcoming changes to the QRF Costing Tool and how to control quality in your operations.There will also be a panel that discusses QRF-agency relationships.

One of the most popular aspects of this event is the QRF Speakers Bureau. Over lunch, people with disabilities who work on QRF contracts share their work and life experiences with public purchasers. It's always the most memorable part of the day. If you have someone in your employ who would be a good fit for this public speaking opportunity, please note it in your registration and we'll contact you.

QRF Vendor space is limited and will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.QRFs must have their booth set up no later than 8 a.m. on Nov. 15.

One last note: All exhibitors are encouraged to bring door prizes (valued at $50 or less) for drawings to be held throughout the day.
