If you’ve taken one of Chef Deja Hart’s curry paste workshops in the past, you know how fabulous they are! In this 3-hour hands-on class you’ll learn to make 3 flavor-packed Thai & Indian curry pastes as well as taste each one used in a delicious recipe suitable for everyday dining or a company dazzler. We’ll make Mussaman - a mild, southern Thai curry with spices from the Middle East and India. We’ll sample the Mussaman Paste in Mussaman Curry with Chicken and Potatoes. Geng Gari - One of the most popular Thai street food curries and a favorite among western visitors. We’ll sample this paste in Geng Gari Curry with Shrimp and Cucumber Relish. And, Green Curry - A favorite in Thai restaurants around the world, this curry is sweet,
hot and aromatic. We’ll sample this paste in Green Curry with Kanom Jin Noodles and Basil. Each student will go home with a small jar of each curry paste, enough to liven up a number of meals! If you’ve taken a curry paste workshop with Chef Deja in the past, come to make more! Or come for the first time and you’ll be truly amazed at how tasty and versatile these special secret ingredients are and how they’ll make your culinary pursuits sing! Note: Not all curries are “hot”! Many are mild and flavorful with no “heat” at all. We’ll make 2 flavorful & 1 medium hot paste.
