2016 Annual Meeting of the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones

ADVANCE REGISTRATION FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING IS NOW CLOSED.

YOU ARE STILL INVITED TO ATTEND THE MEETING,
BUT AT THIS TIME WE CANNOT ADD TO OUR LUNCH ORDER.

 

On Saturday, November 4th the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones membership will gather at Chattanooga Audubon Acres to review 2017 and prepare for another great year in 2018.

This is our one best opportunity to join together and collectively provide input into the future of our chapter. The meeting will include lunch from Panera Bread and will end with another fun native plant seed and plant swap.

Morning beverages and a box lunch will be provided.  This event, including lunch, is FREE for all active members.  When you register, please indicate if you would like:

1 - The Italian Sandwich - Smoked, lean ham, Chianti wine salami, spicy sopressa, provolone, arugula, spicy giardiniera and basil mayo on a Hoagie Roll

2 - Sierra Turkey Sandwich - Oven-roasted turkey breast raised without antibiotics, field greens, red onions, and chipotle mayo on Asiago Cheese Focaccia

3 - Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich - Zesty sweet Peppadew™ piquant peppers, feta, cucumbers, lettuce, vine ripened tomatoes, red onions, cilantro-jalapeņo hummus, salt and pepper on Tomato Basil

4 - Seasonal Greens Salad- Arugula, romaine, kale and radicchio blend, vine-ripened tomatoes, red onions and diced cucumbers tossed with reduced-fat balsamic vinaigrette

5 - Greek Salad - Romaine, vine-ripened tomatoes, feta, pickled red onions and kalamata olives with salt and pepper tossed with Greek dressing

Sandwich Boxes include a whole sandwich, a bag of potato chips, a pickle spear and a cookie.
Salad Box includes a whole salad, piece of baguette and a cookie.  
Assorted drinks will be provided.


The 130 acre Elise Chapin Wildlife Sanctuary at Chattanooga Audubon Acres is bisected by the South Chickamauga Creek and contains a rich diversity of plant and animal life.  The forested portions of the property are predominately mixed bottomland hardwoods with mixed upland species covering the slopes and ridges.  In  the fall the colors are always a site to behold.  There are five miles of walking and hiking trails running on both sides of the creek.
