Winter Botanicals watercolor class is going to be AMAZING! One of our dear students just happens to be a florist, and she has offered to bring beautiful "live" winter flowers and plants for us to paint in class. Some of the best lessons we learn, are ones we teach ourselves from truly looking at something up close. Observing where a shadow is cast, how many different colors can be seen on a leaf, how the light casts through the petals and so much more! We will sketch and paint an assortment of flowers, sprigs and plants in this workshop, and you will leave feeling very differently about your ability as an artist!
Student Supply List:
Pencil & Eraser
Watercup
Watercolor Brushes - Lg Oval Wash, Round anything from 6 to 10 and a liner/rigger for details
Watercolor Paints (pencils not suggested)
Heat Tool
Washi Tape or Painters Tape (blue) or Artist Tape
Optional: If you have a portable Ott light, please bring it! It will be very helpful!
