Building a Healthier Missoula: Promoting Health Equity for All

The Summit is a project of the Missoula Invest Health team, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Reinvestment Fund. This summit will share what works in terms of improving community health, and will be a critical first step toward developing a road map to ensure that health equity is reflected in all Missoula policies, plans, and design.

Keynote speaker Janna West Kowalski, MS, is a Community Coach at County Health Rankings & Roadmaps (CHR&R), a collaboration of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI). Janna provides strategic guidance to communities that want to put the County Health Rankings into action for community health improvement. Along with Janna West Kowalski, there will be a community discussion and breakout sessions. There will be breakfast available to all starting at 7:30am.
