Jaren is an attorney and founding partner with Johnson Law Office, PLLC. Prior to forming Johnson Law Office, PLLC, Jaren was a partner at several firms in Minneapolis as a real estate and corporate law attorney. Jaren is admitted to practice in the Minnesota State Courts, Minnesota Federal Courts and Bankruptcy Court, and the U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is Board Certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Real Property Law Specialist, a designation held by approximately 400 attorneys in Minnesota.
Clay is the Chief Business Development Officer for New Direction IRA. He teaches continuing education, informal classes and webinars, and facilitates the training of business development teams. Clay has more than 20 years of management experience in various roles, which include the vice president of Jersey Films and as a director for Princeton Review. Clay draws upon his teaching background – including instructor roles with Colorado Outdoor Training Initiative and Ivy West Education – to develop the educational aspects of New Direction IRA and impart knowledge about self-directed IRAs to its clients and prospective clients.
Adam Hardy- Tax Panel (CPA - inactive)
Adam has been a real estate investor for 10 years. He currently owns and manages rental properties in the Twin Cities and Iowa. In August 2015, he left his day job as a CPA doing taxes to pursue real estate full time.
Sean Blomquist has a passion for helping his clients make money. He got started in this business with a sales and marketing degree from Duluth Business University. With a background in Architecture and construction, he has built and remodeled several homes. After working at US Bank as an Account Manager to Fortune 500 companies, he joined the Pine Financial Group team as their inspector in 2012 and became a full time originator in January 2013. He has been involved in over 400 deals as either an investor, inspector or lender.

Kevin is an avid real estate investor and owns several rental properties in Minnesota and Arizona, and also rehabs 15+ properties annually.
As the founding principal of Caspian Group, Rafik believes in building a business which empowers people to reach their highest potential. Having come from humble beginnings, he regularly reminds to his team to be respectful and considerate to all, regardless of their financial position or social status. Rafik is a prolific reader who always tries to share the ideas and principles he learned to improve the lives of people around him.
Rafik has obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from University of Minnesota in 2001. His experience in financial risk management has started from his first job as a mortgage loan underwriter. He has 16 years of experience in real estate investing, but his real strength comes from the experience of his mentors. Rafik credits his accomplishments to people who have guided and mentored him, he often quotes Isaac Newton by saying “If I have seen farther, it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants”.Local Investor Panel
