ICNC for Exporters: Managing the Risks and Opportunities in China 

This seminar will help companies who have begun to do business in China, as well as those who are exploring it. We will cover topics for Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain. The speaker works with hundreds of companies to improve their operations in China and will explain the market overall and common problems companies face.

Overview:  The speaker works with hundreds of companies to improve their operations in China, traveling to China 6 times a year.  She will bring that experience to explain the market overall and strategies to manage the common problems companies have in China.  She will discuss in particular China's Sales Environment (VAT Tax & Pricing, Distribution Channels, Managing Collections) and how to Mitigate the Pitfalls of Manufacturing (Qualifying Suppliers, Quality Control, and Regulatory).

Benefits:  This seminar will help companies who have begun to do business in China as well as those who are exploring it. We will cover topics for Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain.  The speaker will be amiable to answer questions from the attendees as well.

About Kimberly Kirkendall, President of International Resource DevelopmentKimberly’s career has spanned over 25 years with her experience focused on international development, manufacturing, and operations. During that time she managed factories for an American company in China, was General Manager of an export firm in Hong Kong, and later moved to California where she directed the international manufacturing, importing, and costing programs for a major gift company. This was followed by over five years in accounting, finance, and management consulting, first at a large regional CPA firm and then with her own firm. She is an advisor to many government, non-profit, and privately held companies and a regarded speaker for various organizations. She is also an advocate to promote Chinese Language Education in the U.S.
