Putting Philosophy into Practice: Trauma Informed Care in Community Settings (RHD Staff) 

RHD's "Putting Philosophy into Practice" Conference will compare and contrast trauma specific approaches, including therapies to heal traumatic symptomology, share knowledge and ideas, and identify steps to implement trauma-informed care in behavioral health services. Participants can attend one morning workshop (A), and one afternoon workshop (B).

This conference is FREE for RHD Staff. You must have a valid RHD email address to register.

This conference has been submitted for 6 credit hours by the PA board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors. Approval is pending.

Keynote speaker: Dr. Roy Wade, Jr., an instructor of pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania and a general pediatrician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Cobbs Creek Primary Care.

This conference will feature a Panel Discussion about Trauma Specific Approaches and Interventions, including Prolonged Exposure, CBT, EMDR and Mind/Body Approaches.
