JANUARY 21, 2018
1PM - Commercial Dance (ages 10 & up)
3PM - Footloose / Theater Choreography (ages 10 & up)

AC's innovative warm-up focuses on body alignment, weight distribution, and on how to become stronger and more flexible. He challenges dancers with his fusion of styles, and he focuses on musicality, dynamics, and quality of movement. AC not only teaches the steps, but he explains the intention behind the movement, and encourages dancers to take chances. If you're looking to take your dancing and performance quality to another level, and to get noticed at auditions, this is the class for you!

EMMY Award winning, TONY nominated choreographer, AC Ciulla has enjoyed an eclectic career spanning a wide range of work in different creative arenas. AC was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Choreography for Broadway’s hit musical Footloose, and has choreographed/directed numerous productions both on Broadway and Off, both nationally and abroad. AC co-created/choreographed the smash hit Toni Braxton ‘Revealed’ as well as the Grammy Award winning Libra Tour and live NBA All-Star performance.  He has multiple film, television, and commercial credits including an Emmy Award for ‘Outstanding Choreography of a Television Special’ for Stars on Ice. AC has appeared as a guest choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance for the past three seasons and made a special appearance on Lifetime’s Dance Moms.

As a performer, AC made his Broadway debut in Starlight Express at age 19, was an 8 time winner and semi-finalist on Star Search, and toured as a featured soloist with the world renowned Jazz Dance Company Waves. He toured the US with the dance sensation C&C Music Factory, danced on the MTV Video Music Awards and had the honor of dancing alongside Michael Jackson.
