You are invited to attend
Engineering Equal Footing for Founding
Part of the Golden Seeds Empowerment Evenings Networking Series
In collaboration with MIT Sloan Alumni of Northern California
Description:
Are you a woman navigating the complex start-up world, aiming to secure funding, mentorship, and collaboration? Have you ever thought about founding a company, but decided against it, because headwinds for women entrepreneurs seemed too strong? Do you actively invest in women and women's ventures? Or do you wish you could otherwise enable women in our community to dream big and launch the next (ad)venture? Then join us on November 30!
In a fast-paced, facilitated session, we will discuss:
A) The unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs
B) Opportunities and resources to support women's entrepreneurship
C) Actionable ideas for the next step - be it funding, founding, or facilitating!
Golden Seeds is one of the five most active angel investment groups in the United States, focusing on women entrepreneurs. We are partnering with the MIT Sloan Alumni Association of Northern California to connect Sloan alumni who are in start-up mode (or considering it) with their members, as well as angels and aspiring angels, in Silicon Valley. Golden Seeds is unique in the venture capital world in that their goal is to help the entrepreneur be successful, whether or not that involves funding.
Come for fast-paced, facilitated conversation over wine and heavy appetizers, starting at 6:30 pm.
Please RSVP below by November 15th.
Tickets: $20 per person.
